Statue of Limitations: The Whole Picture of a War Porn Money Shot
Antiwar.com takes us back to the bright dawn of Bush's Babylonian Conquest, to that wonderful day when the teeming masses of Iraqis took to the Baghdad streets to tear down Saddam Hussein's statue in a totally spontaneous act of appreciation for their liberators. Who can forget those moving scenes that filled every TV screen in America and Britain, those riveting close-ups of the huge crowds (whose true extent, unfortunately, could not be readily discerned from the dramatic tight shots that captured the moment of Bush's triumph)? Ah yes, if only Jack Murtha and Cindy Sheehan had stayed under the slimy rocks they crawled out from under to slander the Dear Leader and not launched the al Qaeda insurgency peopled entirely by non-Iraqi terrorists and the second and third cousins of Saddam that has given the Leader a spot of bother recently (although with the surge, everything is getting better now), why, the circumstances of the conquered land might be even more goldenly glorious than they are now. For the picture below clearly shows that the hearts and minds of the vast majority of the Iraqi people were clearly with the Dear Leader from the very beginning, and that only the machinations of the Murtha-Cindy-Saddam axis of evil (with the help of their henchmen at AP) have obscured the true nature of the President's manly bulging victory in Iraq.

Contrast this massive show of support to the puny rally in Iraq today, where radical cleric Moqtada al-Sadr could only muster a few hundred thousand people to rally in Najaf against the American occupation.

Just think how much heartfelt and mindful support four more years of occupation will bring!
