Yale and Harvard - a childish joke

in my student years at MIT, we would sometimes tell jokes aimed at Harvard, our upriver neighbor whom we envied - here's one

the Harvard boy and the Yale man simultaneously enter the men's room to urinate during the Harvard-Yale football game

the Yale man zips up and begins to leave the room, and the Harvard boy, heading to the sink, says to him, "at Harvard they teach us to wash our hands after urination"

the Yale man replies, "At Yale we learn not to pee on our hands" - mistah charley, ph.d.

No. You're not at all off the point about the betrayal of liberal causes allegedly liberal elites. Here in the 'states, the Democratic Party has long championed civil liberties and civil rights for minorities and women. Now the Democrats' two leading presidential contenders -- a woman and a black -- fall all over themselves in demonstrating that they are ready, willing, and able to complete the fascist agenda of George W. Bush. We Americans also traditionally celebrate the rule of law. Now we are betrayed by the leading lights of the legal profession.

The only place you might be in error is if you want to argue that the ironies I've point out are coincidental. - jimmythem

Does he give these lectures while fellating a rabid dog?
or rimming a well-fed cow with diarrhoea?
Or anally impaling himself repeatedly on a large file?
Cause I still wouldn't be interested.

Agreeing with all of the above, but isn't it a mark of how egregious this all is that Blair was actually the head of the Labor, not Conservative Party? Weren't they supposed to bring about a liberal alternative to Thatcher's fascism (I could be off on this)? Doesn't that show how eternally worthless the plutocratic elite is, how stupid this mess has become? What do the good liberal professors and students of the world's most expensive resume booster do now - hold the door for him at the Faculty Club? - mjosef

and a PS, I like what Jimmy had to say:
They may be worthless to some, but if you're a fascistic, monopololist, warmongering, law-breaking, pseudoreligious military deserter who's angling to snatch world power without interference from the legislative or the judicial branch, Scalia, Roberts, et al. are anything BUT worthless.
Sad, sickening, and worst of all unsurprising. It is Yale, after all. The Ivy Leagues have a rich history of incompetence, lying and distortion of reality, all for the sake of Empire.

Another crumbling in the Great Wall of Empire.

I wonder which of Poppy Bush's thousand points of light will be shining on Tony Blair as he regales the "prestigious" students of Elihu's Empire Factory. - Evan Rhood

Its the confession stupid...

Bliar is first and foremost a lawyer. As a lawyer, he decided that the best possible defence for his crimes would be to convert to catholicism. One of the integral parts of this religion is the confession, where sinners (criminals) can offload their sins (crimes) and get a clean slate so they can sleep at night. If they sin (commit crimes) again, all they have to do is confess to get their forgiveness and start all over again with a clean slate. Its a great scam which goes to show why Catholicism is so popular among the criminal clases. - David Sketchley

The explanation is simple --

The explanation is simple: Blair has to get out of England because nobody there has any use for him whatever. Think what a comedown it is for Phony Tony that he has to beg the Bush Boy to pull strings for him so he can get a job at Yale!

If you despise Blair as much as I do, try chasing this URL

Read the article. Buy the book. Support monkey warfare in the UK and elsewhere.
